About Porcelain Veneers
Cosmetic enhancement with porcelain veneers can restore an attractive smile by covering certain aesthetic concerns, such as cracks, stains, chips, small gaps, and more concerns. Thin, custom-designed shells that go over the front enamel of the patient’s teeth, dental veneers create a natural, good-looking smile. Porcelain veneers are strong, however still thin enough to be semi-transparent, which helps the porcelain veneers to blend in with the natural teeth. Having dental veneers created by our dentists at DentalWorks - Pewaukee in Pewaukee, WI is a efficient, easy way to conceal many physical flaws and make a restored, healthy smile.

"I had never been to Dental Works before, my insurance changed and I needed to change my dentist. From day one they treated me like family, (I am not a fan of dentists , and they made me feel at ease)...At my initial appointment I explained to them my lifetime wish to have white teeth, guess what? I have white teeth, I received veneers on my top teeth and I could not be happier!..I never thought I could afford veneers but with the help of Kim at the front desk and Dr.Adl I could have what I wished for my whole life. THANK YOU DR ADL and Kim....you are the best. So glad I made the switch to Dental Works.😊😊😊😊"- D.H. / Google / Sep 11, 2019
"Dr. Adl and his staff have been wonderful treating an infected tooth I had with a root canal procedure while in my third trimester of pregnancy. They always made sure I was comfortable while also making sure my baby was safe with the antibiotics I had to take with the infection and also using multiple aprons while getting x-rays. Dr. Adl even finished my root canal while sitting up as it got very uncomfortable to lay flat for a long period of time. Kim and Corinne made sure all insurance aspects were completely taken care of making it a very easy process for me. The dental hygienists were all so kind and personable making dreadful appointments much more enjoyable. I'm so grateful and appreciative for the staff at this location! Would highly recommend to anyone!"- E.V. / Google / Sep 04, 2019

What to Expect
To start the procedure of creating the personalized dental veneers our dentists will make space for the dental veneer by removing a thin layer of enamel from every tooth that is going to be attached to the dental veneer. Once the teeth have been prepared, our dentists will take a digital image of the teeth, which will be used to craft the custom dental veneers in a dental laboratory. A temporary veneer can be used to protect the teeth until the final dental veneers are returned to DentalWorks - Pewaukee in Pewaukee, WI. The custom dental veneers will be bonded to the front of the teeth using a dental bonding agent. Our dentists will alter the dental veneers if needed to give the patient a snug fit.
A follow-up appointment is usually made for about 5 - 7 days after the dental veneers are placed to ensure the attachment is secure and the fit is still comfortable. Dental veneers are more resistant to staining than the natural teeth, but to keep the dental veneers in their pristine condition, our dentists advise avoiding staining foods and drinks, like soda, tea, coffee, and red wine. Patients should start or continue to follow a good home dental care routine, including daily brushing using a non-abrasive toothpaste, regular flossing, and visiting our dentists for dental cleanings and oral exams at DentalWorks - Pewaukee. With good care, dental veneers may last up to 20 years.
Dental veneers are categorized a cosmetic service, so it is usually not covered by dental insurance. However, DentalWorks - Pewaukee in Pewaukee, WI takes many payment options, not to mention our dentists and the staff at DentalWorks - Pewaukee can help patients with financing plans to make dental veneers more affordable.
