About Dental Cleanings
Even with a perfect home oral care routine, including flossing and brushing, tartar and plaque can still form around the dental enamel. This can cause cavities and bacterial infections and other problems. To ensure the teeth remain clean and healthy, Pewaukee, WI residents should have a dental cleaning at a minimum of twice a year at DentalWorks - Pewaukee with our dentists. This is also referred to as a scale and polish. During a dental exam and cleaning, our dentists will use professional tools to slowly remove plaque and tartar on the enamel. After the cleaning, the teeth will be polished with a buffer and any additional dental treatments such as periodontal work or fillings will be discussed. Consistent dental cleanings are important for preventing oral disease.

"Dr. Adl and his staff have been wonderful treating an infected tooth I had with a root canal procedure while in my third trimester of pregnancy. They always made sure I was comfortable while also making sure my baby was safe with the antibiotics I had to take with the infection and also using multiple aprons while getting x-rays. Dr. Adl even finished my root canal while sitting up as it got very uncomfortable to lay flat for a long period of time. Kim and Corinne made sure all insurance aspects were completely taken care of making it a very easy process for me. The dental hygienists were all so kind and personable making dreadful appointments much more enjoyable. I'm so grateful and appreciative for the staff at this location! Would highly recommend to anyone!"- E.V. / Google / Sep 04, 2019
